

Tenor Hans Vriezen studied singing with the Soprano Antoinette Tiemessen en the Argentinian Tenor Omar Jara,
and now since a few years by the Australian Tenor David Bishop.
Between 1989 and 1992 he was a member of the Bach Chorus of The Netherlands in Naarden
under the baton of Charles de Wolff.
In 1992 he took part in Gluck’s Iphigenie en Tauride with Opera Zuid from Maastricht.
In the same year he shared the bill in a Christmas concert with Ivan Rebroff, Antoinette Tiemessen and
the Ulft Male Voice Choir in De Maaspoort in Den Bosch, with Viola Holt as presenter.
Between 1992 and 1996 he divided his time between the civic opera companies Of Regensburg and Bielefeld in Germany.
In 1998, Hans Vriezen took part in Companions Opera’s production of Verdi’s Aida at the Gelredome stadion in Arnhem.
In june 1998 he appeared with the Chorus and Orchestra of Brabant in a concert version of Saint-Saëns’
opera Samson et Dalila, conducted by Marc Soustrot.
In June/July 2008 he appeared with the Chorus Consensus Vocalis and Orkest van het Oosten
to a CD Recording of Symphony No. 5 from Julius Röntgen conducted by David Porcelijn.
In march 2009 he sang the Tenor Part in the Passion Cantata Olivet to Calvary from J.H. Maunder with
Baritone Matthijs Mesdag the Organist Ton Kos and the Choir “Crescendo” in Hoek van Holland conducted by Wim de Korver.
in a couple of Bach Cantatas conducted by Wolfgang Lange.
Since 1996 Hans Vriezen has been a member of the chorus of the Nationale Reisopera in Enschede, where he has had
solo engagements in Un ballo in Maschera, La Bohème, Peter Grimes, Parsifal, La Traviata, Johannes Passion and in Handel’s Messiah.
